The Group

The research activities and competencies of our group arise by asking questions on topics such as:

  • the global energy transition
  • the management of climatic risks
  • energy economics and policy

In our work we combine empirical, theoretical, and integrated natural systems-economic modeling approaches to study how environmental processes and policies interact with macroeconomic outcomes and human welfare.

We specialize in macro-public and environmental economics and take a particular interest in the effects of energy and climate policy on economic development. We are economists specialising in energy and climate change.

Examples of questions and approaches in our work include

  • fiscal costs of climate change
  • flood risks and housing markets
  • shale gas boom and energy technology
