Golden Owl Award
In 2023, Professor Lint Barrage was presented with the ‘Golden Owl Award’ for outstanding teaching by ETH Zurich's student association.
Doctoral course and MSc/MAS level course
We expect to add a doctoral course in environmental macroeconomics and an MSc/MAS level course in Advanced Energy Economics and Policy to our course offerings in the near future, with scheduling TBD, along with further core economics coursework.

Writing a Master’s thesis at our chair
We supervise MSc and MAS theses in our area of research. Students interested in writing their thesis with us are invited to submit an application consisting of a short motivation statement, a CV, and a transcript of records to Patricio Velasquez.

We also welcome student-initiated thesis proposals that align with the chair’s research activities and ongoing projects. If you are unsure whether your interests fit within our research areas, please contact Patricio Velasquez for further guidance.
We require completion of the following courses:

In addition, depending on the thesis topic, we require completion of at least one additional relevant course such as:
